Coastalwood is going through an exciting creative phase, and “Kam Kamla,” the new lyrical song from the upcoming movie Kajja, proves it perfectly. Released on the popular Anand Audio channel, the song has quickly won the hearts of audiences across Tulunadu and beyond.
The lyrics written by Mohan Raj are simple, catchy, and perfectly suit the beauty of the Tulu language. It is the kind of song that stays in your mind even after listening, making people want to play it again and again.
Even though the lyrical video only offers a small glimpse, the excitement around the song is already huge. Coastalwood comedy star Aravind Bolar brings his trademark energy and charm, while Siddharth Shetty matches him with an equally lively performance. Their chemistry promises a grand visual treat in theatres. The film also features a strong cast including Vasishta N. Simha, Vensit Dayas, Sahana Sudhakar, Uday Poojary, Swetha Kotian and Umesh Mijar.
The song also shines because of its talented technical team. Directors Jishnu S. Menon and Siddharth Shetty have created a vision that feels both grand and deeply connected to local culture. The cinematography by Chanthu Meppayur looks vibrant and visually rich, while the smooth editing by Binu Nepolian keeps the video engaging throughout.
The film had its premiere in Mysuru on May 27, becoming the first Tulu film to have a premiere in the city. Kajja is now all set for a statewide release on June 11.
