Sarvajanika Shree Ganeshotsava 2023 Successfully Concluded in Ajman

Ajman, UAE – Margadeepa Sanskrathika Samithi celebrated their 9th annual Sarvajanika Shree Ganeshotsava with traditional zeal and enthusiasm on September 25th, 2023, at the Indian Association Hall in Jurf, Ajman, UAE. The event witnessed a significant turnout of devotees who gathered to partake in the day-long festivities.

The festivities commenced with the Ganahoma ritual and continued throughout the day, culminating in the Maha Annadana and the Ganapathi Visarjan, keeping the rich traditions alive. The stage function followed, featuring esteemed guests from India, including Ex-Minister Sri. Krishna J. Palemar, who inaugurated the event and delivered a few words. Ex-MLA Raghupathi Bhat, Mattaru Ratnakar Hegde, and a delegation from Vishwa Gita Paryaya Samithi, who came from Udupi and lit the auspicious lamp during the inauguration, were also honored during the program. Additionally, sponsors and various community leaders were recognized for their support.

 

Key members of Margadeepa Samithi, including President Ajith Korakodu, Vice President Sandeep Rao, General Secretary Mahesh Chandragiri, Treasurer Rajesh Rao, Utsava Samiti President Sugandhraj Bekal, and Founder President Prabhakar Ambalthere, shared their insights on the event, highlighting the organization’s 25 years of successful celebrations and expressing gratitude to all those who contributed. The program was expertly conducted by Srinivas Krishnapura, who served as the Master of Ceremony.

In the evening, the cultural program unfolded with Bhakti Rasamanjari, Bhajans, Nrityabhajans, and the Kalasha Pooja accompanied by Band Vadya. The cultural segment of the program was skillfully led by Aarati Adiga as the Master of Ceremony. Maha Annadana was distributed to all the devotees as a fitting conclusion to the celebration.

The Bhajan Group featured participants from various organizations, including Margadeepa Sanskratika Samithi, Om Shree Bhajana Vrida Dubai, Aadyathmika Samithi Kannada, Sharjah, and Ramakshatriya Sangha UAE. In the Bhakti Rasamanjari program, soulful devotional songs were rendered by Ramachandra Bedradka, Yuvaraj Devadiga, Dr. Santosh Kemmunje, and Master Shaurya Santosh. Bharatanatyam dances were performed by the students of Golden Star Music Fine Arts Sharjah, and Dance Nritya Priya Thanda also presented other captivating dance performances.

In recognition of the silver jubilee of Sanskratika Samiti, special honors were bestowed upon Vishwanath Bekal, Dinesh Bekar, Prabhakar Ambalthare, and the couple Satish Hangaluru. The committee extended their gratitude and felicitated all the devotees, donors, and press members for their invaluable contributions to the success of this day-long celebration.
