Gamjaal is all set to hit screens on February 19. The film which stars Roopesh Shetty in lead is making all the news with it’s unique marketing strategy. The hype of the film is at it’s peak. Now the question on everyone’s mind is if the film will become an industry hit like Girgit, which was the last film from the same team.
For those who do not know the meaning of industry hit, it means a film which has collected the highest box office collections in a film industry. Right now, in Coastalwood, it is Girgit, which is the industry hit. In Sandalwood, it is KGF, which was an industry hit.
Some analysts feel that Gamjaal will become an industry hit and they feel these are the factors responsible for that:
1. Roopesh Shetty: Roopesh Shetty has always been a popular celebrity in Tulunadu as a VJ as well as RJ. However, when he turned into a hero, he could not get the success, which he got in other fields. However, that did not deter him, and he continued to experiment. He then took a big step with Girgit. He not only co-directed the film but also indulged in production activities. He was fully involved in the script and the result was seen. He changed the way of marketing with Girgit in Coastalwood and the film became a huge success. It ended up collecting so well in a city like Bengaluru, where even Kannadigas ended up watching the film in large numbers. With Gamjaal, Roopesh is back and people are expecting another blockbuster.
2. 100 percent occupancy: When the makers announced the release date in January, they were not sure if the government would allow 100 percent occupancy in theaters. However, from February 1, the government has allowed 100 percent occupancy and this is a bug boost to the team. The film will have a great opening for sure and box office collections will see a huge rise with 100 percent occupancy allowed.
3. Teamwork: Gamjaal team comprises talented artists and technicians. If the film has legendary comedians like Aravind Bolar, Naveen D Padil and Bhojaraaj Vamanjoor on one side, the technical crew is also great. Joel and Dareell are composing the music for the film. Their work in Girgit was highly appreciated. A song sung by Guru Kirian for Gamjaal has already been released to good response. Prasanna Bailoor has written the dialogues for the film, which is expected to be rib-tickling.

4. Two films combo: Tuluvas loves combos. Roopesh Shetty has promoted this film as two films. We do not know what he exactly means by that. But if he says something like that, then there should be something special.
All these factors will influence the film in becoming an industry hit. But at the end of day, content should win. Only if the content is good, the film will succeed. We hope Gamjaal creates records at the box office, when it releases.
